Cysticercosis in muscles seen in chest x ray P.A view

Cysticercus of  tape worm (taenia soli) when infests human in brain and muscles leads to  neurocysticerci and cysticerci of muscles you can clearly see in this chest x-ray P.A view, the larvae are encircled with red circle which appear as opaque shadows, this x-ray was taken from Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi

you can also watch out these larve in human brain of the same person( CT scan) this condition is know in neurocysticercosis, which leads to seizure disorders in person, this person had a poor prognosis and was died with in 4-5 days of being admitted in Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi

How to give injections by painless technique?

Very first step to give injection to any patient is cleaning of the site where injection need to be applied, cleaning must be done in a circular fashion, starting from centre towards periphery like in whirlpool.

 

 

 Now understand the techniques to give injections.

Intradermal injections are given by pulling the skin tight, insert the needle, bevel up, holding it an angle of 10 degrees as it penetrate skin, turn the needle bevel down and inject a small amount of medication into the skin at junction of epidermis and dermis, until a wheel appears, slowly inject all medication, have a look at the photograph shown.
