Fixed Drug Reactions

Fixed drug reactions are basically drug reaction occuring at the same site on the body after taking few drugs to which patient is sensitive, below is the photograph of a patient who came to us with hyperpigmented macular patches on body, which were diagnosed as fixed drug reaction, below you can see the photograph, fixed drug reaction can of following types

  • Pigmenting fixed drug eruption
  • Generalized or multiple fixed drug eruption
  • Linear fixed drug eruption
  • Wandering fixed drug eruption
  • Nonpigmenting fixed drug eruption
  • Bullous fixed drug eruption
  • Eczematous fixed drug eruption
  • Urticarial fixed drug eruption
  • Erythema dyschromicum perstans–like fixed drug eruption
  • Vulvitis
  • Oral
  • Psoriasiform
